The Whaleshark Flipper from Microtech is an impressive knife that boasts great style, solid performance and innovative design! Microtech’s intent on designing a knife with solid G-10 composite handles, was to move away from “old school” handle materials like aluminum.
The handle features super lightweight 3D contoured G10 slabs, but does not compromise strength or durability. The contoured back spacer and tip-up carry pocket clip feature titanium as well.
The black finished CTS-204P steel blade has a Nomi Gurando grind (chisel ground). The blade is deployed via the flipper on the spine of the knife and the action is superb, thanks to the ceramic bearing system. This knife has an adjustable Torx T30 pivot screw!
